MODEL UNITED NATIONS
Model United Nations is a debate club which simulates the United Nations and regularly competes at conferences in and out of state. Model UN pushes students to become more diplomatic and globally minded by finding solutions to real-world problems.
Each student assumes the position of a country, is assigned to a committee within the UN, and receives topic areas to debate. After research, public speech, debate, lobbying, and negotiations, students work together to reach resolutions on the world’s most pressing issues.
